About Mr. H Property Maintenance

I started working for myself in 2012 after illness forced a change of careers. At the time I wasn’t sure what I should do, but I wanted to get out and feel useful. Friends and family convinced me that I should further my already extensive knowledge and experience of the building trades and go into the property maintenance. This was based on their experiences of work I’d previously done for them and the lack of suitable tradesmen who were willing to do little jobs, as well as the larger more lucrative projects.

 

Nearly a decade on and I’m pleased to say my friends were correct. I have a substantial client base that regularly come back and ask me to undertake additional work. These clients also are most diligent at providing unbiased references and leads for me; so much so, that other than a small advert in the little blue local directory and this website, I do very little by way of advertising.

 

As I rely on the recommendations of previous clients, the quality of my work and commitment to customer satisfaction speaks for itself. It does occasionally happen that people call me and I can’t get to them straight away, but most are willing to wait for me, this is because they know that they can rely on me to provide a good quality and trustworthy service and that once I set a specific date, I will be there on that date.

 

My regular clients also know that I operate a “short notice scheme” for small jobs. This means I put you on a list of jobs that I can fit in in-between and when I get an unexpected opening in my scheduled, I phone people on that list on a first-come-first-served basis, ensuring I fill my days and keep my customers happy.
